Chi Kung is perhaps the oldest and most widely practiced
Oriental healing art. It involves coordinating movements
with breathing techniques and mental exercises. The
principles of Chi Kung form the basis for arts such
as Tai Chi and Yoga. In the modern world the practice
of Chi Kung has three major schools, spiritual, medical
and martial. Across this diversity the basic goals
remain the same, building strength, maintaining good
health, curing disease, prolonging life and cultivating
spiritual awareness. Compared to many eastern arts,
Chi Kung is very easy to learn, one of its' strengths
being it's simplicity.
Greentaichi classes are structured on Chi Kung exercises
and meditations from Tai Chi Chuan, Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan
Gong, Shaolin Chi Kung and the Eight Pieces of Brocade.
Private lessons are tailored to suit your individual
goals from developing martial power, cultivating health,
treating a medical condition or exploring the spiritual
aspects of life.
