All Corporate classes have an emphasis on stress relief,
boosting energy levels, and improving concentration
and mental clarity. In my experience 6 lesson
courses are the most popular format for the corporate
environment.
Tai Chi classes start with a period of stretching
and light meditation before progressing to the slow,
graceful movements of the Tai Chi form. The
exercises can be made as physically light or demanding
as the participant chooses so one class suits all.
Correct posture and breathing are emphasized to help
combat the physical tension resulting from long hours
seated at a desk. At the end of the course participants
will have attained a good understanding of Tai Chi's
core principles, and are well prepared to continue
their study in Greentaichi open classes.
Chi Kung exercises are simple, effective stress busters!
Corporate classes focus on medical Chi Kung for maintaining
health and increasing energy, including special exercises
for the eyes and techniques that can be easily practiced
sitting in a chair. These are of particular value to
people who spend long periods working at a desk using
computers. The key techniques are repeated each week
so by the end of the course participants can confidently
practice by themselves. Each class finishes with a
period of meditation focused on physical and mental
stillness for stress management. Many of the
exercises can be taken away and practiced whilst sitting
at a desk enabling you to effectively manage your levels
of stress and tension throughout the day.
The Meditation course is the most popular of our corporate
services. Participants are taken progressively
through stilling the body, stilling the breath and
stilling the mind. The course also covers the psychology
of meditation and how to deal with the most common
problems people encounter during regular practice. By
the end of the six weeks participants are well equipped
to continue to practice by themselves and integrate
meditation into their life.
In recent years it has become more and more necessary
for women to learn how to manage aggressive and violent
situations. Drawing on a lifetime of martial arts
experience and research into the psychology and behavior
of violent men, Greentaichi offer a corporate package
in self-protection and defense for women. The
course consists of an introductory lecture and six practical
classes. In addition to simple and effective physical
techniques, the course covers street safety, being followed,
sexual assault, drink spiking, unlicensed minicabs and
home security. Understanding the psychology of
these situations and how to deal with the approach of
an aggressive man can prevent many attacks from ever
